Lord of the Rams: The Launch Parties

Lord of the Rams will be formally launched on 24 July 2008 in Dicey Reilly's, Dublin and on 1 August 2008 in the Ramor Inn, Munterconnaught, Cavan. The book will be on sale at both events.

Dublin Launch
Thursday 24 July 2008: Official Dublin launch of Lord of the Rams
Venue: Dicey Reilly’s (function room), Russell Court Hotel, Harcourt Street, Dublin 2
Details:

Lord of the Rams will be on sale from approximately 6.00pm-10.00pm.
The book will retail at €14.50.
Over the course of the night, Ronan Smith (author of Lord of the Rams) will be giving away free bookmarks (with the first 50 copies sold), mingling with the guests and playing the part of host extraordinaire. |
7.30pm |
Finger food will be served. |
8.30pm |
Ronan will briefly address the guests in an attempt to convince all and sundry that they have spent, or are about to spend, the best €14.50 of their lives. |
9.00pm - 11.00pm |
Acoustic music provided by Woodsey (Eoin Woods).
Woodsey has been playing the Porterhouse on Parliament Street for years as well as other pubs around Dublin and the country.
Followed by late bar until 2.30am. |

Cavan Launch
Friday 1 August 2008: Official Cavan launch of Lord of the Rams
Venue: The Ramor Inn , Ryefield, Virginia, Co. Cavan

Two special guest speakers from Munterconnaught will briefly discuss the book and will share some anecdotes from their time growing up with the author. Ronan will then give a short speech recounting his memories from living in Munterconnaught and his reasons for writing Lord of the Rams.
